You cannot…
You cannot be so afraid of failure that you don’t attempt to succeed. - David LeGrant
Could be one of the biggest things you’ll have to confront in your life. I know that for me it’s always been one of the biggest barriers. I like to be a thorough person, but sometimes I let fear get in the way of getting things done. “I’m not ready yet” “I don’t know if I’ve got it right yet” It’s all the same. Sometimes you really don’t have it all, and sometimes you do….
Then there’s another way to look at it…
If you know anything about something, you’re ahead of most people. So I’m kind of getting in to the “blogging” type of success. But this can apply to most businesses really.
For most topics, almost everybody is a complete newbie. There’s people looking for information, and there’s people who don’t know where to look. If you can manage to get a hold of those people, you’re ahead! There’s lots of ways to achieve success this way. You just have to look for them…
To sum up, don’t let fear get in the way of your success. If what I’ve said here has helped you out any, then that’s what the intent was. If not, I’d like to hear what I messed up on… Leave me a comment if you want.

Overcoming the fear of failure is one of the biggest and most difficult thing I’ve ever done. I used to have a lot of conversations with “Failure” (see http://www.growinghappiness.com/2008/01/19/a-conversation-with-an-unlikely-friend/ ) I’ve learnt to accept failure as part of the learning process and it definitely got easier from then on. One has to be realistic about success - it is usually NOT a smooth ride. Looking forward to reading more of your thoughts, Zech.
cheers,
